Meet Brittany Moffitt, LCSW
Hi, I’m Brittany.
As a psychotherapist and perinatal mental health specialist, I’ve sat with many women who carry anger, grief, and hurt after childbirth. Some grieve the birth they didn’t get; some had an unplanned c-section or NICU experience, some felt dismissed or ignored by their birthing team or support network. Whatever your experience is – however long ago it was – it’s valid and healing is possible.

In our therapy sessions, you can expect me to listen closely, be deeply empathetic, and committed to your healing process. I am not a therapist that sits back and nods. We get to the root of what is going on, so you can feel like you again.
I bring a range of expertise from practical strategies to EMDR and deeper trauma focused approaches. Overall, you can expect warmth, honesty, and to leave each session with an insight and deeper self-reflection.

Pregnancy After Loss Package
When parents begin another pregnancy after a miscarriage or death of a baby, it can bring up complicated emotions. Perhaps there is a part of you that is excited to be pregnant and another part that is full of anxiety and worry about 'what if something goes wrong'. You may be especially anxious during gestational milestones in the pregnancy as well. Experiencing a miscarriage or having your baby die during pregnancy or shortly after birth has naturally impacted the anxiety you feel in subsequent pregnancies. The Pregnancy After Loss package offers a set of therapy sessions (8-10) to support you through the emotional journey of anxiety, fear, vulnerability, sorrow, grief, and hope during your pregnancy. With flexible sessions and a holistic approach to mental health, I am here to support you every step of the way.
